Annette Dunne lives in Dublin. In the 70’s she spent two years with her husband and young family living in Bangor in the north of Ireland. During that period several of her articles were published in the Evening Press newspaper, now no longer in print.
In her career, she taught Spanish in UCD and also lectured on the Spanish Short Story. She did her Masters degree on the short stories of Carmen Martin Gaite, an acclaimed Spanish author who subsequently went on to write several novels.
In 2020 Annette was long listed in the Fish Short Story Competition for her story “The Deal”.
